General update: the first drafts of books 2 and 3 are complete. I'm working on revisions now. I still have plenty to add, but the main storyline is complete. I've updated the music pages for books 2 and 3 - and I've them titles! Book 2: Lady of Tylas. Book 3: Lady of Tinas. :-)

I know it looks like I don't do much online, but actually do...I just don't post often on here. Most posts are on Facebook, LiveJournal, or GoodReads (see links on right). General update for now: the first draft of Book 2 is done and I'm 4 chapters into Book 3. Both need a lot of work and a lot of loose ends tied up. My goal is to finish Book 3, then go through and do the "patches" on both 2 and 3. This is just how I write. Y'all keep following me on my networking sites and you'll see what's going on. Okay, so perhaps I should be writing today. But, I haven't been. I did drop off a few books to my friend (and tattoo artist) Paula, to the area bookstore, and at a couple other locations. That's something of productivity, right? I also got my assignment schedule squared away for my summer classes. So, now I can get on top of that. But, I currently have something of a distraction - and that distraction is "Lost." I started watching Season 1 again over the weekend - and I'm near the end. And, really, who's to say I'll stop with Season 1? I own the whole series.

You should be happy to know that despite all my current distractions, I am about 125 pages into Book 2 of The Vayde Chronicles. It's very scant right now, but I'm getting the gist of the story down. I'll go back later and smooth out the details, etc. I almost think it's easier to edit and revise later than it is to write.

That's all the the update I have right now. Maybe I'll get into the habit of updating here often. One can hope, right?

Book 1 of The Vayde Chronicles, "Lady of Terras," has been published!

A tentative publication date has been set for Tuesday, May 3, 2011. It will be produced in many electronic formats including those supported by Kindle, B&N Nook, and Apple - as well as in print form as a softcover.
